We currently accept payments through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to use this service and you can use various payment methods as described in checkout.

When your order has been processed you will receive an email from Paypal confirming all the details. This is your proof of purchase. Once this has been issued you can rest assured that your order will be processed and will be delivered as per our Terms and Conditions.


Please be aware that if there are insufficient funds in your Paypal account and your payment is processed via your bank / building society account, there may be a delay before this payment clears. Consequently your order may be delayed by an additional 7 to 10 days.


All our parcels are currently delivered using myHermes on a 3-5 working day service. Hospital Bag orders will be processed and dispatched within 2 working days. For caddy & bottle orders, these may take up to 7 days to process. This service is for UK MAINLAND ONLY. Unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver to the Channel Islands. If you live in Highlands & Islands or Northern Ireland your parcel may take longer. Please ensure the name & address is CORRECT, and where possible please provide an email address AND mobile phone number (you can supply this in the "notes" section on PayPal). This will be passed on to the courier and they may contact you with tracking details.
IMPORTANT: 3 attempted deliveries will be made - if this fails the parcel will be returned and the refund will incur a £5 admin fee.

On placing an order with Bags of Essentials it is assumed that you have read and agreed to the Cancellation & Returns policy.

Cancellation of an order must be made in writing prior to goods being dispatched, please see Contact Us page for contact details. A full refund will be issued to you within 30 days following receipt of a cancellation instruction.

Please note if goods have been dispatched prior to receiving your cancellation instruction the returns policy will apply.

Returns & Refunds

Bags of Essentials has a 30-day return policy. If you wish to return goods you must first contact customer services in writing, please see Contact Us page for contact details.

Pre-packed maternity bags are sold as one unit. Individual items contained within the bag cannot be returned separately. All returns must be received unused, unwashed and in original packaging to receive a full refund.

Bags of Essentials are not liable for any postage and packaging costs for returned items.

A full refund will be issued within 30 days for returned goods received in line with the Returns Policy.
